THE DISEASE AND THE CURE: HOW TO RECTIFY OUR COMMUNITY
GRAND RAPIDS, MI, JULY 20, 2023: Masjid Sunnah Grand Rapids Michigan, will be hosting a first-of-its-kind; outreach event entitled “The Disease and the Cure: How to rectify our community”.
The event will be held from 2:00 to 4:30 pm Saturday July 28, 2023, at Joe Taylor Park 1001 Baxter St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507.
The goal of the event will be to share practical advice to remedy the problems we face in our neighborhood. Food will be served.
TOPICS TO BE ADDRESSED: Gun Violence, Crime, Murder, Drugs, Police Brutality, Cyclical Poverty, Mental Illness, Gangs, School to Prison Pipeline, Recidivism (Prison re-entry), Substance Abuse, Lack of Resources, Unemployment, Health Crisis, Inner City School Systems, Mass Incarceration and more.
Masjid Sunnah Grand Rapids was founded in 2014 and is sponsored by Sunnah Publishing, a not-for-profit Islamic Publisher which has been at the forefront of condemning acts of violence and extremism since it was established in 2004.
